Selling this nice 2013 Ford Explorer — an AWD 3.5L V6 with a low 89k original miles on the dash. Clean and clear title.
This is a mechanically sound vehicle with plenty more life left to give. Tire treads are in good shape, with tires only three years old (Mastercraft). Suspension is tight with no unusual drivetrain noise. It comes equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, often more reliable than Ford's newer, less-tested 10-speed automatics. You can expect anywhere from 17-23 mpg, letting you save money at the pump while still enjoying SUV comfort.
This SUV was serviced regularly with routine oil changes and has passed inspections. The following work was performed in the last 10-12k miles:
Alternator replaced (88k miles)
Drive belt tensioner, serpentine belt, and tensioner (88k miles)
Steering shaft and rear brake calipers (87k miles)
Intake manifold gaskets and spark plugs (77k miles)
On the exterior, it's not perfect — paint is beginning to chip on a small section of the front left hood, there are a couple of scratches in the paint, rust on the bottom of the driver door (visible with the door open), and rust on the hitch and a small section of the trunk door. This is all cosmetic, as the structural integrity of the vehicle is strong.
The interior has plenty to offer: heated seats, a backup camera for maneuvering in and out of tight spaces, Bluetooth radio with hands-free calling, three rows of seating (7 seats total), plenty of room to store things on long road trips, and a terrain control dial for any type of ground you encounter. It has minor cosmetic issues, including a tear on the driver door panel and minor cracks forming in the leather. AC is cold and heat is hot.
